- Establish the Unique Accounting System. This has been the hallmark of Unique Indoor Comfort’s success since the very beginning. Our company founder, Thomas R. Mutz, I, was known to frequently say, “Why play the game if you don’t keep score?” Most heating and air conditioning people just never learned how to “keep score.” We set up how to get the appropriate numbers (expenses, labor, material, service, service agreements, new construction installations, add-on/replacement sales, and so on) and then compare your percentages with other successful Uniques. It is virtually impossible to make a sustained profit without having a full understanding and accounting of the numbers (all the money that flows into and out of the business)
- Establish our recommended Total Comfort Service Plan for homeowners. Another hallmark for Unique. These are good for the customers and good for the company. These agreements are essential for providing more year-round work for technicians. We have a proven method to sell new and renewal agreements.
- Provide technical advice. Someone in the Unique organization will have the answer for you or know where to get it.
- Provide training advice. We recommend the appropriate training and help you on how to get it done.
- Provide you with pay plans for your team.
- Provide marketing advice.
- Provide purchasing advice.
- Provide temporary experienced service and installer techs based on availability.
- Provide training in our successful operations to provide a picture of the Unique way of doing business.
- Provide advice that is always ethical and quality goaled to help you conduct a business that makes everyone in your company proud. And, our advice is designed to make you money.
- Provide you with a call-center with experienced professionals to help provide you with extended hour service capabilities.

- Unique does not make any decisions on your behalf. We may strongly suggest you take certain measures or directions, but at the end of the day it is always your choice to say yes or no.
